Nicolas opens up about what brought him to Symrise, what surprised him most, and how it feels to step into a new creative home.

“I was looking for renewal, for a challenge, and for the pleasure of creating in a different environment. What immediately struck me is the Symrise culture. It feels authentic, agile, genuinely human. There is almost a fine fragrance start-up spirit here. People are curious, open, easy to approach. And since I’m terrible with names, maybe this time I’ll actually remember them.
As for how it feels to arrive, it is probably a mix of excitement and curiosity, with a small dose of vertigo as well.”
