The Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) is a public agency that facilitates skills attainment for Sweden’s current and future needs.

We promote lifelong learning and open doors to education, work life and careers – both in Sweden and internationally. We make it easier to find, select and apply to courses so that everyone ready to continue their studies can find a place that’s right for them. To succeed, we develop and manage digital platforms and services in coordination with the education sector. Our work leads to better quality and increased internationalisation. We also contribute insights and make recommendations that strengthen Sweden’s status as a knowledge nation.

EU Careers Sweden is one of many UHR:s governemnt assignments, which is a part of the Swedish National Government Strategy and Action plan with the goal to increase the number Swedish citizens working at the EU administration. In this assignment UHR offers information, guidance, education and support for all Swedes that want to choose and EU career path as well as training and coaching so that everyone, who wants to pursue and EU career would succeed.
