In this role, the Corporate Communications Intern will be heavily involved in the day-to-day management of the Group's social media platforms, including creating written, graphic, video, and other content; managing and publishing upcoming content with our editorial management platform (Sprout Social); conducting research and analysis on industry trends, best practices, and media coverage and monitor; and monitoring KPIs and measuring the effectiveness of communication campaigns and strategies.

The Corporate Communications Intern will also play an active role in developing content for the Group's Employer Brand Campaign and will propose, launch, and monitor organic and sponsored social media campaigns to ensure its success.
The Corporate Communications Intern will also support planning and execution of corporate events, such as webinars, conferences, and employee engagement activities and may contribute to corporate reports and other editorial projects.

Responsibilities

Social Media:

  • Crafting content for various platforms: You will collaborate with the Corporate
    Communications Manager to create content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Glassdoor, etc.
  • Conducting social media audits: You will monitor KPIs and assess our social media
    performance.
  • Creating visual assets: Using Canva and PlayPlay, you will develop visual assets like
    images, carousels, and videos that adhere to SCOR's tone and brand guidelines for use on social media. You will also be expected to keep up to date with the latest formats, tools, and trends in social media marketing.
  • Employee Advocacy: You will support the launch and ongoing animation of SCOR's
    new employee advocacy program.
  • Monitor SCOR's online reputation: You will respond to mentions on social media and escalate any negative comments to the Corporate Communications Manager.

Reports:

  • Support the creation of various corporate reports: You will contribute to development, writing, and editing of various corporate reports such as the annual
    Activity Report.
  • Manage report promotional campaigns: You will plan and execute report promotional campaigns, including drafting texts and creating visuals.

Events:

  • Support event coordination: You will help to plan and execute events and webinars
    such as LinkedIn Live events and manage related promotional campaigns.

Other:

  • Employer brand: You will assist with the employer brand campaign and support the Careers at SCOR blog as needed.
  • Additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Required experience &competencies

  • Excellent English writing, editing, and proofreading and verbal communication skills; a good understanding of French is a plus (team meetings are often held in French).
  • Creativity, the ability to generate innovative ideas, attention to detail, and commitment to producing high-quality work are key.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms.
  • Intermediary graphic design experience is required.

Required Education

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
