YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as Electrical Expert
- Develop expertise in primary equipment of MV & HV substations (circuit breakers, disconnectors, terminations, surge arresters, cables).
- Perform root cause analyses (RCA) and failure investigations on switchgear for DSOs and the nuclear business line.
- Contribute to design reviews for BESS projects, solar parks, and HV transmission lines.
- Carry out laboratory testing, inspections, and technical assessments, with occasional on-site witnessing.
- Review technical documentation and provide independent expert opinions.
- Collaborate closely with cable and transformer experts, as well as renewable, nuclear, and international business lines.
- Grow into a key reference within the team, supported by experienced mentors.
YOUR PROFILE as Electrical Expert
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Junior profile: trainee (from school) or up to 3 years of experience.
- Strong interest in MV & HV electrical equipment and substations.
- Affinity with hands-on, equipment-oriented engineering (lab + expertise).
- Working proficiency in Dutch and English; French is an asset.
- Curious, motivated, adaptable, and eager to learn from senior experts.
