Natixis in Glassdoor’s TOP 25 best French employers

For the second year in a row, Natixis features in the TOP 25 which lists the companies best rated by their employees on factors such as work-life balance, career opportunities and the working environment within teams. Natixis remains the only financial institution to feature in the ranking. This ranking is a great source of pride, as at Natixis we have always been very attentive to the wellbeing and professional development of our employees.   During such an unprecedented and unusual year due to Covid-19, we have prioritized the health and security of our employees. We have also collaboratively reinvented the way we work in order to remain efficient and united in the service of our clients. I would like to thank all our employees for their opinions which reflect our collective commitment” Cécile Tricon-Bossard, head of HR at Natixis.     How it works The Glassdoor ranking is based on the comments of employees who volunteer an anonymous opinion, along with a description of their job and their company’s working environment over the past year. The winners of the 2021 Employees’ Choice Award for best employers in France have been determined using an algorithm measuring the quantity, quality and consistency of the opinions shared by employees based in France between 22 October 2019 and 19 October 2020. Winners are ranked according to their overall score over the past year. Scored on a five-point scale: 1=very dissatisfied, 3=OK, 5=very satisfied.

The impact of the crisis on leadership: new challenges, new methods

What can we learn from this crisis? How can we best adapt to this “new normal”? How can we encourage team members and maintain the expected standard of performance? In this podcast, Sandrine Bromberg, director of Natixis’ Purple Academy, head of leadership development and managerial support, sheds light on the new challenges faced by leaders as a result of the pandemic. The widespread adoption of hybrid work, combining remote activity and on-site attendance, has moved the goalposts. In particular it has given the leader cause to consider their role and their interactions with their teams differently, and therefore to act differently: the leader “has had to change their preconceptions, challenge their habits, and modify their practices”, explains Sandrine Bromberg. What aspects of leadership need to be developed in order to reinvent the relationship between leaders and team members? For Sandrine Bromberg, leaders should now more than ever focus on sharing their vision to give their teams direction, especially in moments of uncertainty, and reestablish a sense of cohesion even when working remotely. Another essential element for maintaining commitment and performance is the development of confidence and empathy. “One solution for the manager to keep the right distance is to develop greater listening abilities, a greater degree of empathy, and especially more truthfulness” reveals Sandrine Bromberg. With regard to support for leaders, in this period of unpredictable and rapid change which is proving to be a fundamental trend, Sandrine refers to the new initiatives already in place and those to come, which will support leaders in their role. These include strategies such as best practice exchange workshops or flash surveys for example, to closely monitor teams’ morale.
