Today, Tesla builds not only all-electric vehicles but also infinitely scalable clean energy generation and storage products. Tesla believes the faster the world stops relying on fossil fuels and moves towards a zero-emission future, the better.

Tesla Automation is a world-leader in highly automated methods of manufacturing.

Established in 1983 as Grohmann Engineering, the company has been at the forefront of automation and innovation for over three decades.

The formation of Tesla Automation in 2016 will result in Tesla’s ability to make exponential improvement in the speed and quality of production, while substantially reducing the capital expenditures required per vehicle.

Tesla Automation has headquarters in Prüm, Germany.
