About this position

About this Position

The Performance Manager - Logistics Data will join Henkel's Global Logistics Center of Excellence within Adhesive Technologies and help advance the Data Driven Performance Management agenda. Based in Amsterdam and reporting to the Director of Global Logistics, this role turns complex logistics data into reliable insights, performance transparency and concrete improvement actions across Henkel's global logistics network. To make our supply chain and logistics organization future- and AI-ready, we need a different approach to how we structure, connect and use data. We are looking for pioneers who can take the lead, challenge the current way of working and help improve how we turn logistics data into value.

What you'll do

  • Drive the Data Driven Performance Management agenda for Global Logistics and further develop a consistent performance management approach across regions.
  • Build, improve and maintain logistics data models, KPI logic and performance transparency for global and regional leadership teams.
  • Translate complex logistics data into clear insights, business recommendations and concrete improvement actions.
  • Apply transport and warehouse network modelling to support optimization, scenario analysis and business case development.
  • Identify common pain points, good practices and improvement opportunities across Henkel's logistics network.
  • Set up and orchestrate collaboration with logistics experts across regions and functions, including Planning, Operations, Customer Service and IT.
  • Support data quality, data governance and performance steering initiatives to enable reliable decision-making and sustainable implementation.
  • Shape and implement improvement projects across Henkel's global logistics operations based on data-driven insights.

What makes you a good fit

  • You combine logistics business understanding with deep data expertise, advanced analytical skills and practical modelling experience. You are able to operate strategically with senior stakeholders while also working hands-on with data analysis, modelling, dashboard logic and project execution.
  • University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in logistics performance management, data analytics, supply chain optimization or a similar area in an international environment.
  • Strong data skills, including data structuring, validation, modelling, KPI logic, dashboard development and business-oriented insight generation.
  • Experience with transport and/or warehouse network modelling; tools such as Optilogic, SC Guru or similar are preferred.
  • Knowledge of logistics systems and data platforms such as SAP, TMS, WMS, Power BI, SQL, Python or similar is an advantage.
  • Ability to build scenarios, quantify trade-offs and translate modelling results into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills and experience in driving initiatives in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data and modelling outcomes in a simple, business-oriented way.
  • Fluent English language skills.
