The Breakdown Response Agent is responsible for the prompt and effective coordination of reactive maintenance and breakdown incidents during operational hours (currently 08:00-17:00, Monday-Friday). The role acts as the primary point of contact for drivers and customers experiencing vehicle breakdowns or urgent defects, coordinating rapid response through the approved repairer network and external breakdown partner to minimise vehicle downtime and keep drivers safe and mobile.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
• You receive and assess inbound breakdown and urgent repair calls, providing guidance and reassurance
• You coordinate rapid responses through repairers or breakdown partners and arrange vehicle recovery when needed
• You source and arrange temporary replacement vehicles to keep drivers mobile
• You manage daily handovers from the external breakdown partner and prioritise ongoing repairs
• You authorise reactive repairs, create purchase orders, and monitor repair progress
• You maintain accurate records, verify invoices, and support cost reporting and defect pattern identification

YOUR SKILLS MATTER
Experience You have experience in reactive coordination, customer service, or logistics roles
Calmness You remain calm under pressure and make clear decisions swiftly
Communication You possess strong communication skills with a confident and reassuring telephone manner
Organisation You manage multiple live incidents effectively and accurately
Tech-savvy You are comfortable working with computer systems and databases
Background Ideally, you bring experience in fleet, roadside assistance, transport, or automotive environments
