As part of the Global Government Affairs & Market Access organization, the Global Lead Market Access (f/m/d) shapes and executes global market access and health economics strategies. Acting as a strategic partner to R&D, Medical Affairs, and Commercial, the role ensures value demonstration across the product lifecycle - from development to post-launch - optimizing patient access, reimbursement, and commercial success. Strong expertise in health economics outcomes research and value-based healthcare, as well as deep knowledge of the German healthcare system, are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement global market access strategies and operational plans
  • Lead health economics modeling, value dossiers, and real-world data generation
  • Translate clinical and economic evidence into payer-relevant value propositions
  • Guide market access and reimbursement execution in key markets
  • Build relationships with payers, HTA bodies, and policymakers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, R&D, and Commercial teams
  • Drive capability building and continuous training on market access and HEOR topics

Candidate Profile

  • Advanced degree in Health Economics, Public Health, or Healthcare Management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in market access or health economics within pharma, medtech, or consulting
  • Strong understanding of German healthcare and reimbursement system
  • Understanding of other health care systems is an advantage
  • Proven success in HEOR/HTA strategy development and international negotiations
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and execution-driven mindset
  • Leadership experience and ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Willingness to travel
