Graphic Design Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, proactive, and motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our team. This internship is a great opportunity for a student who is eager to gain hands-on experience, develop their design skills, and contribute to meaningful projects in a dynamic international environment.

As part of the design team, you will support day-to-day creative activities and occasionally work on projects with tight deadlines. You will collaborate with colleagues across different teams and help bring ideas to life through engaging visual content.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and adapt visual content for social media, posters, flyers, and internal communication materials.
  • Enhance and redesign PowerPoint presentations to create impactful visual storytelling.
  • Support photo retouching, illustration projects, and basic video editing.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and project managers.
  • Assist in creating content for a variety of internal and external communication channels.
  • Ensure all visual materials align with brand guidelines and quality standards.

Your Profile

  • You are a student active in a Belgian university, college, or secondary school, studying Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • You are proactive, organized, and eager to learn.
  • You can manage multiple tasks and work effectively under occasional short deadlines.
  • You are a team player with a positive attitude and a growth mindset.
  • You communicate confidently in English; knowledge of French is a strong asset.
  • You can easily commute to our Brussels office: ENGIE Tower, Simon Bolivarlaan 36, 1000 Brussels.
  • You are available for a minimum of 6 months, starting as from September 2026.
  • Your internship is part of your academic curriculum, and your educational institution can provide the internship agreement.

Technical Skills

  • Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro); experience with After Effects is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Canva and similar design platforms.
  • Understanding of design fundamentals, including layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency.
  • Ability to work with existing templates and adapt visual assets across different formats and communication channels.

What We Offer

  • Hands-on experience in a professional and international work environment.
  • The opportunity to work on a wide range of creative projects.
  • Guidance and mentoring from experienced professionals.
  • A chance to develop both your technical and professional skills while building your portfolio.

Ready to bring your creativity to ENGIE? We'd love to hear from you.
