Job Title

BUYER APPRENTICE
Overview

As part of the Procurement team, you will support experienced buyers and progressively develop

your autonomy throughout the apprenticeship. You will be involved in a wide range of purchasing activities within an international and technology-driven environment.

The scope of procurement at Amadeus mainly covers IT-related categories, including software development services, licences, SaaS solutions, hardware, cloud, networks, telecommunications, and security.

You will work with key tools such as Coupa (sourcing and ordering), as well as MS Office and collaborative platforms.

Your main responsibilities
• Support buyers in sourcing and procurement activities
• Participate in supplier interactions and follow-up processes
• Assist in managing purchase requests and orders via Coupa
• Contribute to data analysis and reporting (Excel, PowerPoint)
• Apply procurement procedures and ensure compliance with internal guidelines
• Identify issues in routine situations and propose appropriate solutions
• Develop progressive autonomy on defined procurement tasks

Your profile
• Currently enrolled in a business school, ideally with a specialization in Purchasing, Supply

Chain, or Finance
• Strong interest in procurement and negotiation topics

Key skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities
• Good judgment and problem-solving mindset
• High level of reliability, integrity, and confidentiality
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Team spirit and adaptability in an international environment
• Curiosity and willingness to learn across diverse topics
• Basic understanding of commercial and business concepts
• Negotiation mindset or willingness to develop these skills

Technical requirements
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• Good knowledge of MS Office tools, especially Excel (pivot tables, data analysis) and

PowerPoint
• Ability to quickly learn and use digital tools (e.g. Coupa), with team support
