    🌍 Stepping Up for a Greener Future: Amadeus France’s Reforestation Challenge 💚

    🌍 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 💚 Amadeus France employees recently took on an incredible challenge with the @Treely app, walking nearly 𝟮𝟱,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗺𝘀 to support reforestation in Madagascar’s mangrove forests! Their remarkable efforts led to the planting of 𝟮,𝟰𝟴𝟲 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀. 🌳🌿 These vital mangrove ecosystems have faced severe threats from deforestation. Led by @EdenReforestation, this initiative restores these areas through large-scale planting, combats habitat loss, enhances biodiversity, and provides sustainable income for the local community, ensuring long-term forest protection.     Helios Phase 2

    Project Helios: roof insulation & double-glazing completed in Bel Air!  Goodbye heat loss during winter and welcome to a better temperature management!   At Amadeus Nice, we’re celebrating the completion of Project Helios' Phase 2, our ambitious project to decrease carbon footprint in our buildings. We’ve just completed the 3,000 m2 insulation of the oldest roof section and the installation of 1,800 m2 of double gazing windows in our Bel Air building.   Launched in 2022 by former President Denis Lacroix, Project Helios is a collaborative study involving 50+ volunteers at Amadeus and aimed at finding ways to increase sustainability of our site. Works are now coordinated by our Buildings & Facilities team.  Helios Phase 3 will start this fall, and of course, we’ll let you all about it; stay tuned

    A diverse and inclusive community

    Enabling the next wave of talent! 🚀   In June, Amadeus France took part in Women7 by N7 an event organized by ENSEEIHT engineering school to encourage young girls to pursue their interest in science. Reducing the gender gap in the Tech industry starts early on, targeting girls in middle and high schools to create a scientific awakening.   Vanessa Fontebride, Director at Amadeus France, participated in a round-table discussion with other talented professionals, including Claudie Haignere, former ESA astronaut, to share her experience in IT and inspire girls in embracing Tech careers. Representation is key to help break stereotypes and spark tomorrow’s innovative spirits.       We’re always happy to support our school partners, thank you Woman7 for giving us the opportunity to reach out to a promising generation and making a difference in IT.
