En 2016, à l’initiative de la famille Hériard-Dubreuil, la Fondation Rémy Cointreau a ouvert ses portes dans le but de promouvoir l’artisanat d’exception. Se ralliant toujours aux valeurs du Groupe, la fondation agit au travers d’aides concrètes au service de ses Terroirs en accompagnant des initiatives uniquement d’intérêt général.

Leurs actions s’organisent autour de grandes lignes d’engagements dont l’objectif premier est de valoriser les savoir-faire d’exception en investissant dans les outils et équipements nécessaires à la pratique. Elle aide également à la communication des métiers pour favoriser leurs rayonnements. La Transmission est au cœur de l’engagement. La pérennité y est encouragée grâce au soutien de la fondation dans la formation et l’apprentissage des différents savoir-faire. Elle s’appuie également sur son réseau interne en encourageant les initiatives des collaborateurs et leurs implications aux projets, favorisant ainsi la diversification des échanges culturels.

Un des nouveaux engagements de la Fondation est l’organisation des Cafés Artisans dont le but est de mettre en lumière le travail des artisans d’arts à travers les lauréats de la Fondation. Le dernier en date est Steven Leprizé, un artisan du bois. Descendant de plusieurs générations d’ébéniste, cet amoureux du bois a très rapidement créé l’Atelier de Recherche et Création en Ameublement (ARCA Ebénisterie). En investissant en recherche et Développement, Steven Leprizé pu concevoir de nouveaux concepts comme l’Airwood ou encore de nouvelles méthodes comme le bois larmé. Réuni par des valeurs familiales et d’ambition, ce partenariat va permettre à Steven de réaliser son nouveau projet de création de résidences artistiques pour encourager la transmission des métiers du bois !

In 2016, at the initiative of the Hériard-Dubreuil family, the Rémy Cointreau Foundation opened its doors aiming the promotion of exceptional craftsmanship. Always rallying to the Group's values, the foundation acts through concrete aid in the service of its Terroirs by supporting initiatives that are solely of general interest.

Their actions are organised around major commitments which primary goal is to promote exceptional savoir-faire by investing in the tools and equipment needed to practice them. It also helps to communicate the trades to promote their influence. Transmission is at the heart of this commitment. The foundation's support for training and apprenticeships in the various skills encourages longevity. It also draws on its internal network to encourage staff initiatives and their involvement in projects, thereby promoting the diversification of cultural exchanges.

One of the Foundation's new commitments is the organisation of Cafés Artisans, aimed at highlighting the work of craftspeople through the Foundation's prize-winners. The latest is Steven Leprizé, a wood craftsman. A descendant of several generations of cabinetmakers, this wood lover wasted no time in setting up the Atelier de Recherche et Création en Ameublement (ARCA Ebénisterie). By investing in research and development, Steven Leprizé has been able to design new concepts such as Airwood and new methods like Bois Larmé. Brought together by family values and ambition, this partnership will alllow Steven to realise his new project to create artistic residences to encourage the passing on of woodworking skills!
