  • International Women's Day 2026

This year, International Women's Day invites us to embrace a powerful idea: Give to Gain.  A simple truth stands at the heart of the 2026 campaign: when we give, we gain - as individuals, as organizations, as a society.  At Barilla, this message resonates deeply. Our commitment to inclusion, equity, and fairness grows stronger when we share our time, our skills, our visibility, and our support with others.  That is why the visual symbol of this year’s celebration is a puzzle of our colleagues’ faces — an image that reminds us that each of us is a unique piece of a larger, interconnected whole. When we come together, we build something stronger than any one of us could build alone. 🌺🎉 The IWD 2026 campaign encourages a mindset of generosity, reciprocity, and collaboration. Giving is not a subtraction — it is intentional multiplication. When women have access to opportunities, resources, advocacy, and recognition, the entire community rises with them. Across the world, “Give To Gain” calls on individuals and organizations to contribute in ways that matter: Sharing knowledge and expertise Mentoring and sponsorship Offering visibility and recognition Challenging stereotypes and bias Supporting education and training Investing time, resources, networks, or advocacy  Every gesture contributes to an environment where women can thrive — and when women thrive, everyone benefits.

  • Opening of the BITE center

🔬🍝 The future of food innovation starts now! Last november we unveiled our new #Barilla Innovation Technology Experience (BITE) in Parma: a 14,000 square meters hub where research, technology, and collaboration come together to shape the future of our pasta, sauces, and bakery products. BITE is now an open space for the world, a place to see, touch, and understand how ideas become high-quality food, driven by people’s evolving needs. Throughout the inauguration day, national and local institutions, academic and research partners, stakeholders, and media joined us to celebrate this milestone, tour the facility, and take part in a TEDx-powered conversation on the future of agrifood and open innovation. Thank you to everyone who  helped bring BITE to life. Now, over 200 experts, including food technologists, researchers, engineers, designers, and chefs, begin their journey side by side, blending tradition and technology to craft tomorrow’s products with quality, creativity, and sustainability at heart.

  • Our commitment to nourish a better future, today

"We have only one way of doing business: caring for people and the planet" Making food that is good for people and the planet is the purpose that everyday drives us. “The joy of food for a better life” expresses the foundation of our existence. It’s about us and our commitment for people and for the planet: offering wholesome products, made with high quality ingredients from sustainable supply chains. Underlying this commitment, is the will to firmly continue on the path that we undertook several years ago, investing in the product portfolio, combining tradition and innovation; strengthening the environmental and social sustainability of the supply chains, introducing principles of regenerative agriculture; reducing the environmental impact of our strategic supply chains and production facilities; and designing packaging to be recycled. All the brands of the Group are already contributing to this path by offering not only food products, but the joy that tasty food, made skilfully and through selected ingredients, can bring them. In order to implement this path, Barilla began defining the new ESG Agenda in 2022, which will contain clear and measurable objectives in order to guide the Company's business through the upcoming years.  We will continue to focus on an essential aspect: the well-being of people who choose our products every day; we will offer them better and better taste and quality.  We will strengthen sustainable agriculture projects and further deepen regenerative agriculture. In line with global commitments, we will define a longterm plan to continue reducing the impacts of CO2eq emissions at our production sites and along supply chains.  We will continue to produce packages designed for recycling and we will explore any new solutions allowing us to have less and less impact.  Finally, we will maintain our commitment to support communities, thus allowing access to food for a growing number of people, promoting inclusion and the development of local areas.
