
Walmart and Avery Dennison collaborate to enhance freshness and increase operational efficiency using RFID
In collaboration with Walmart, we’re proud to announce a breakthrough innovation to advance the use of RFID in fresh categories previously not possible, revolutionizing fresh food management in the grocery retail sector. Overcoming longstanding industry challenges of using RFID in high-moisture, cold environments, like meat cases, we’ve developed first-of-its-kind sensor technology that brings RFID-enabled labels to the meat department.
