What does #DreamInDior mean for you?
#DreamInDior is subjective for everyone, but for me, it means being a part of a movement that embodies the values Christian Dior envisioned. As a member of the operations team, I take pride in contributing to an exceptional shopping experience. To me, the essence of #DreamInDior comes to life in the care we take to fulfil every consumer's desire.
What amazes you the most in your work?
As a member of the operations team, my work amazes me with the variety of actions and functions that we handle. During my first two months at Dior, I have learned many skills that I can apply in my professional life and transpose into my personal life. For example, being a part of an environment that aspires to and encourages excellence has helped me build my self-confidence.
How does Dior help you grow on a daily basis?
Dior is an environment that aspires to excellence while also providing a professional setting for learning, collaboration, and taking initiatives. The support that Dior and the team I'm a part of provide is a key factor in my training and fulfillment as an individual, both in my professional and personal life.
Who do you rely on when you face challenges and why?
Challenges are a key part of learning as an apprentice. That's why I feel grateful for the chance I have been given, but above all, for the team I'm a part of. Since day one, my manager, Nicolas Latchoumanin, and Nolwenn Bernard, as well as the team, welcomed me openly and made sure I was in the best environment to learn and thrive.
What did you learn from these challenges?
My career as an apprentice started two month prior. During this short period of time, I accoutered different challenges. During those, I learned that collaboration is key to solving any king of obstacle. Exchanging point of views, learning from somebody’s experiences, and involving a mentor is the greatest way to address it.
How do you or your team celebrate success & milestones?
As a team, we celebrate success and milestones in different ways. For small milestones, we share appreciation for everyone's work and involvement, and for bigger ones, we celebrate twice a year during a beautiful party that brings together every colleague from the Galleries Lafayette teams.
