  Christian Dior Couture celebrates women artisans on the 4th edition of the Prix des Artisanes

  At Dior, we are designers of responsible futures. Christian Dior Couture was honored to celebrate the exceptional talent and craftsmanship of our women artisans during the award ceremony of the 4th edition of the Prix des Artisanes, co-created by LVMH and ELLE Magazine, under the patronage of the French Ministry of Culture. This year’s edition showcased the creative contributions of the House of Dior and LVMH Maisons in producing the iconic creations for the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The ceremony brought together a distinguished jury of experts, including representatives from LVMH Maisons, journalists, and industry leaders. The laureates were celebrated across five categories: Fashion Crafts, Jewelry and Watchmaking Crafts, Design and Tableware Crafts, Heritage Preservation Crafts, and Wine and Vine Crafts. Pauline Déroulède, LVMH and Dior ambassador athlete, three-time French Champion and Vice-Champion of France in Wheelchair Tennis, shared her inspiring journey during the ceremony. Joining her on stage, #ElenaRuyatkina, Première Main at Christian Dior Couture, provided a rare behind-the-scenes look into her exceptional work on the iconic outfits for #LadyGaga, #AyaNakamura, and #JulietteArmanet at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. #Elena shed light on the technical mastery required for these projects, from the assembly of the garments to the seamless integration of luminous threads into Juliette Armanet's design and managing the large volumes of Lady Gaga’s dresses. The House extends our warm congratulations to all the laureates and participants who continue to elevate craftsmanship to new heights. #DreamInDior

Since 2022, Christian Dior Couture has embarked on a journey to strengthen its feedback culture, bringing together over 350 talents in Paris and key Business Unit leaders for a series of impactful events and workshops led by Stéphane MORIOU, the worldwide feedback expert. Today, this commitment to feedback takes a new step forward with a digital program featuring virtual classes and e-learnings, designed to embed feedback into daily routines across the teams, created in partnership with Raphaël MAISONNIER, Co-Founder & CEO of Fasterclass. Jennifer COHEN, Learning & Talent Development HQ Director, shares: ‘We believe that enriching our feedback culture reinforces relationships and strengthens the commitment of our teams. In our demanding and caring environment, this communicative approach supports everyone's development to be more efficient both individually and collectively.’ Barbara Vautrey, Client Development Director, adds: ‘The Feedback program proves to be an extremely enriching and challenging experience. What amazes me the most is the way every high jewellery piece and timepiece embodies a unique narrative that merges tradition with modern innovation. Witnessing the meticulous craftsmanship and artistry firsthand deepens my appreciation for the intricate details that go into each creation. Coming from a multicultural background, I’m particularly moved by how Dior celebrates its heritage while embracing new ideas and designs. This fusion enriches our work and also reminds me that luxury it’s about the stories and connections we foster.  How does Dior help you grow on a daily basis? Dior fosters an environment that nurtures creativity and personal development, allowing me to thrive in my role. The brand’s commitment to excellence encourages me to push my boundaries and continuously seek improvement. Through hands-on experiences, innovative projects, and an emphasis on collaboration, I am constantly learning and evolving. Being part of such a prestigious House inspires me to embrace new challenges and expand my understanding of luxury, ensuring that I grow as a professional and as individual. Who do you rely on when you face challenges and why?  When challenges arise, I turn to my manager, Suzanne Joly, High Jewellery & High Timepieces Business Development Manager - Europe & Middle East, and my fellow young talents. Their support is invaluable; they inspire me to tackle obstacles with confidence. We share our experiences, ideas, and solutions, which fosters a strong sense of teamwork. Knowing that I have such a supportive network makes it easier to navigate difficulties, and together we turn challenges into opportunities for growth.   Christian Dior Couture explores the impact of narratives in advancing Corporate Social Responsibility with ORSE

  At Dior, we are designers of responsible futures. Christian Dior Couture recently hosted a roundtable in partnership with the Observatoire de la Responsabilité Sociétale des Entreprises (ORSE), dedicated to exploring the impact of narratives in advancing Corporate Social Responsibility. This event brought together LVMH Talents and cross-industry experts, from finance to media, unified by a shared commitment to CSR. The morning opened with a welcome from Isabelle Faggianelli, VP Corporate Social Responsibility, and a breakfast at the Dior Gallery café. Following an introduction by Olivier Flaviano, Director Dior Paris Gallery, guests had the opportunity to take guided tours, experiencing Dior's legacy and innovative vision firsthand. Organized by Géraldine FORT, the discussion then moved to the Dior Learning Lab, where Hélène VALADE, President of ORSE and LVMH Group Environment Development Director, opened the roundtable. She introduced Céline Soubranne Weber, ORSE Director and CSR Director at Lagardere, who set the stage for a conversation on the power of narratives to inspire transformation. The panel featured insights from Chantal Joie-La Marle, PhD, Deputy Director of Innovation & Lab SNCF Impact, and Claudia Silvia Ambruosi, Director of Societal Projects at Vivendi. Together, they highlighted the critical role of storytelling in shaping social norms, inspiring innovation, and embedding sustainability within their fields. The session concluded with a Q&A, fostering an exchange of ideas and reflections, before Hélène VALADE closed the event with remarks on the importance of purposeful, transparent narratives in building a sustainable future. #DreamInDior

The commitment to excellence pushes me to continuously improve and surpass myself to stay at the forefront of new technologies. When facing challenges, who do you rely on and why? When facing challenges, I rely on my manager, Michele DE GIORDIS, who has been an incredible mentor, offering guidance and helping me navigate difficult situations with his experience and insight. Additionally, I turn to the experts within my teams, Céline MOREIRA-CHIU, Pierre-Henri GACHE and Mathieu BARREAU, as their knowledge and specialized skills provide valuable perspectives that help us find effective solutions together. This collaborative approach allows me to learn from others while ensuring that decisions are well-informed and supported by diverse expertise. What does it mean for you to be an ally to diversity, equity, and inclusion? As a young woman, being an ally to diversity, equity, and inclusion means using my voice to support and uplift others. It also means fostering environments where my team members feels empowered to be themselves . I’m committed to ensuring that inclusion is something that’s practiced daily in my actions and choices.   Christian Dior Couture proudly organized the ‘Charity Cycle Challenge from London to Paris' to raise awareness and funds for UNIQUE, a British charity supporting individuals with rare chromosome disorders.

  At Dior, we are designers of responsible futures. Christian Dior Couture proudly organized the ‘Charity Cycle Challenge from London to Paris,’ uniting #DiorTalents from the UK and France in a three-day journey dedicated to raising awareness and funds for UNIQUE, a British charity supporting individuals with rare chromosome disorders. Led by Geoffrey Bailey, Facilities Manager UK & Ireland, our dedicated cyclists set off from the Dior Boutique on New Bond Street in London, covering 200 km over two days before reaching the historic 30 Montaigne Boutique in Paris. Geoffrey shares: ‘I feel very proud that the event has grown with both UK and French participants in 2024. The engagement from the team has been amazing and is shaping up to be a super rewarding few days. When my child was diagnosed with this condition, I was devastated, and it was very difficult to adjust. This event has allowed me to take action to support this cause. I thank Dior for this support.’ Carl Croft, UK Training Manager, adds: ‘I am doing this charity cycle to support an amazing initiative of raising funds for UNIQUE. For me, as an Assistant Product Manager  in the shoes department at Dior, #DreamInDior represents the opportunity to be part of a legendary luxury brand that has always inspired Dreams with its heritage and excellence. This hashtag embodies the aspiration for creativity, innovation, and excellence in fashion, while also reflecting a deep passion for a craft where the limits of design are constantly pushed. What amazes you the most in your work? I am fascinated by the balance between creativity and business strategy. Seeing how each shoe is a piece of art and also a product that needs to align with market trends, customer needs, and the overall brand identity is an incredible learning experience. Being part of a team that bridges these two worlds while upholding the legacy and innovation of Dior is what amazes me every day in my work. How does Dior help you grow on a daily basis? The brand helps me grow on a daily basis by offering a hands-on learning environment where I can actively participate in various stages of product development. Working alongside seasoned professionals, I’m constantly exposed to new skills, from understanding the intricacies of the luxury market to learning about materials, production processes, and consumer behavior. Who do you rely on when you face challenges and why?  When I face challenges, I rely primarily on my team, my managers Alexandre PETITDIDIER, Gautier VOYER and my co-intern Matteo GODINHO. The expertise and experience of my colleagues are invaluable, as they offer guidance and support whenever I encounter difficulties. They provide me with insights that help me see challenges from different perspectives, allowing me to find effective solutions. I also rely on cross-departmental collaboration, as working closely with teams in development, and retail often brings fresh ideas and solutions to complex problems. This collaborative spirit at Dior ensures that challenges are approached with creativity and precision, which helps me grow and learn from each situation.
