Meet Federico from the Banking Team

"I’m Federico (Fede), a Consultant at Deloitte, working in the Business Transformation team. I mainly work on banking topics, with a focus on improving how organizations operate and make decisions, currently around governance, prioritization, and delivering change effectively. I’m originally from Milan and decided to come here following my studies in Venice and Madrid. I first discovered Deloitte through the Consulting Open Days and was immediately drawn to the people and the international environment, which ultimately convinced me to make the move. I’m also recently back from a six-month unpaid leave, during which I backpacked around Asia, where among other things I saw the Great Wall of China, climbed a volcano in Indonesia, and even visited the border with North Korea. Outside of work, I love going to the cinema, exploring new hobbies (currently learning Uku Lele and Photography) and sailing/diving/skiing whenever I can.”

What do you prefer in your activity at Deloitte?

“I really enjoy building genuine connections with our clients and seeing that the work we do actually helps them move forward. I also like that every project is different, so I’m constantly learning and adapting. And of course, working with smart and cool people makes the experience even better!”

How does Deloitte help you grow/develop yourself?

“Deloitte helps me grow through constant exposure to new challenges, industries, and ways of working. I always learn something from the talented people around me, and every project pushes me to improve both my technical skills and how I communicate with stakeholders.”

Can you share with us an anecdote from your professional experience?

“One of my most memorable moments was during a project in Boston, Massachusetts, when our client invited us to his home for a barbecue with his family. It was a really nice reminder of how important client relationships are, including the ones outside the usual working environment."
