Find your community at Dow: How ERGs empower young talent

At Dow, inclusion isn’t just a value, but it’s a daily practice. One of the most powerful ways this comes to life is through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). These are employee-led communities that bring together people with shared backgrounds, experiences, or interests and they’re open to everyone.

What are ERGs?

ERGs at Dow are more than social groups. They’re platforms for networking, mentorship, leadership development, and community outreach. Whether you're passionate about cultural heritage, gender equality, LGBTQ+ inclusion, accessibility, or intergenerational collaboration, there’s a space for you.

Dow currently supports 10 global ERGs, including:

  • Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN)
  • Asian Diversity Network (ADN)
  • Disability Employee Network (DEN)
  • GLAD (LGBTQ+ and Allies)
  • RISE (Rising Professionals Network) – especially relevant for students and early-c areer professionals!

Why it matters for students and everyone in the beginning of the career?

Joining Dow as an intern or graduate means you’re not just starting a job, but you’re also entering a supportive, global community. ERGs help you:

  • Build your network across departments and regions
  • Find mentors who understand your journey
  • Develop leadership skills by organizing events or leading initiatives
  • Make an impact through volunteering and outreach

Real stories, real Impact

ERGs often collaborate on events like career panels, cultural celebrations, mental health awareness campaigns, and STEM outreach in schools. These experiences enrich your time at Dow and help you grow both personally and professionally.
