Odoo

Maximilien, developer intern in 2022 and now in CDI:

"During my master, I had the opportunity to do an internship in a company. As I had heard a lot of good things about Odoo during my time at the university, from friends and professors, I decided to give it a try. 

At the very beginning, I was very stressed because it was my first interview and I didn't really know if I had the level to succeed. The interview went very well and gave me a real boost of confidence ! The rest of the recruitment process was great, I could tell that they really do everything they can to help you succeed. 

My first day at Odoo came very quickly, but the three months I spent as an intern went ten times faster. One thing that I will always remember is how nice people are and how they were always willing to help me. Big +, I did the internship during the summer, so I have enjoyed the good Belgian weather at the farm and I had some fun after work to bond with my team. 

The work, the people, the atmosphere and so many more things made my experience so great that every morning I was happy to get to work. After the internship, I had the best opportunity to continue working with the team I joined in the beginning and I hope that it will continue for a long time since I have not only found co-workers but a real family !"

Antoine, developer intern during covid in 2020:

 "After four years of theoretical lectures about Computer Sciences and Engineering at the university, I felt like I was missing something. Therefore, I decided to take a break in my studies and to make an internship to discover what may be my future job. I couldn't choose between a startup and a big company so I chose a big company with a startup spirit aka Odoo. 

What I technically learn and do is nice but not the most important. Here, I discovered the relationships with colleagues who are always happy to discuss and to help each other. 

Currently, I won't lie and say that COVID-19 is my best friend but I try to live with it and still try to speak with other employees online and as soon as I can be on site in the wonderful farm in Grand-Rosière. I’ve been here for only 2 months but I already feel like at home and I'm looking forward to discovering new people, new cultures, new spirits and simply new things! I think I may have found what I was missing ... ”

Achraf, developer intern in 2020 and now in a permanent contract since the end of his internship:

Four month ago, I landed a really cool job! And I am feeling so grateful to be working in a company where I can thrive and evolve! I applied at Odoo after following a 2 year training in C-Low level programming at 19 (not my age, it’s the actual name of the school). A friend had told me about Odoo and it felt like the right fit for me : open-source tech company with a chill atmosphere, friendly colleagues and so much to learn as an intern! 

And hell I did! As soon as I arrived I was given real responsibilities, I never had to “serve coffee” (well, except for myself, to keep my coding lines straight ^^), and kept learning everyday. Actually I still do today since I never left! So thank you Odoo for giving me this opportunity !
