Christian Dior Couture recently hosted an immersive experience for Master’s students from Sciences Po’s ‘Marketing: New Luxury & Art de Vivre’ course, offering an in-depth exploration of the Maison’s iconic heritage and a unique lens on the jewelry universe at the heart of the House of Dreams.

Over 50 students engaged in a discussion led by Amélie Melchior, Jewelry Product Manager and Sciences Po Alumna, and Valentin Wallut, Young Talent Recruiter. Together, they explored Dior’s legacy, touching on the Maison’s values, codes, icons, and sources of inspiration, with a particular focus on the ‘Art de Vivre à la Française.’

Amélie shared her career journey from intern to manager at Dior, providing an inside look at the process of creating a jewelry collection. She emphasized the significance of the jewelry métier, especially under the creative direction of Victoire de Castellane.

Rania S., Sciences Po student, shares: ‘Hearing Amélie’s journey from student to leading such an essential part of the House’s iconic product line was truly inspiring. Her insights into product development, market strategy, and the fine balance between heritage and modernity were the highlight of the day. It was empowering to see how Dior elevates its unique creations, as well as nurtures its people, fostering talent to carry on the House’s legacy of excellence.’

Amélie adds: ‘It is always meaningful to discuss our roles and missions with students — they are the future of the House, and we are committed to supporting their journeys as they enter the professional world.’

The new recruitment campaign to join the House of Dior in January 2025 as an intern or apprentice has already started.
