  • Where interns spark, learn and connect

Sometimes it can be difficult to find your place in a new environment, understand the culture of a new company, … That’s why it’s important that organisations invest in their interns, just like Deloitte does! The Interns Ignite Event was created to inspire and expand the network of former, current, and future interns. Inspiration Interns Ignite started with an engaging panel discussion. Some of Deloitte’s current interns, and former interns who now work for the firm, shared their first-hand experiences, shedding light on what it means to be a true Deloitte intern. The participants were invited to get involved and interact with the panelists during the Q&A session. To further enrich the experience, Deloitte also hosted an inspiring keynote by Sofie Lenaerts—the first woman in the Benelux to conquer the Seven Summits. She shared her journey of resilience, perseverance, and boldly pursuing your goals, whether in the mountains or in your career. Finally, they took part in a quiz in smaller groups to get to know Deloitte and its Belgian headquarters, the Gateway building, better. Networking More than anything, Deloitte’s Interns Ignite Event was an excellent opportunity to connect with other interns. Gateway was filled with chatter and laughter as the interns wrapped up the fantastic event by enjoying a pizza buffet and playing a game that gave them insights into their roles in a team setting and empowered them to forge new contacts with their peers. Start your internship Are you an ambitious student who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and exciting environment? Do you want to be an intern that receives the support they need to thrive and enjoy taking part in an event like Interns Ignite? Don’t let this opportunity pass you by!
