French law n°2018-771 dated September 5, 2018 completed by Decree n°2019-15 dated January 8, 2019 obliges companies to publish an index that assesses gender equality, such index being a score out of 100.

This index is calculated on the basis of five indicators being:

  • gender pay gap
  • pay rises distribution between men and women
  • promotions distribution between men and women
  • number of women benefiting from a pay rise after a maternity leave
  • gender equality among the 10 highest salaries in the company.
